Our Conditions of Sale
Property Damage: Providers accept no liability for damage to driveways, pavements, grassed areas, or underground services (pipes, drains) when delivering or collecting off-highway
Damage to Vehicle/Skip: If a driver is directed off a public highway, the hirer often assumes liability for damage to the skip or vehicle
Consequential Losses: Companies are typically not liable for losses resulting from late delivery or collection, or delays in service.
Prohibited Waste: Strict no-liability is held regarding improper disposal of hazardous waste (asbestos, paint, batteries, electrical items, chemicals).
Overloading: Hirers are responsible for not exceeding maximum load levels and are charged for prohibited items (e.g., mattresses, sofas).
Unauthorised Movement: If a hirer moves a skip without permission, liability for damage or theft transfers entirely to the hirer.
Cancellation: Cancellations often require at least 24 hours’ notice to receive a full refund, with fees applied for last-minute cancellations.
